Mario De Anda currently works with Foundation for a College Education (FCE), located in East Palo Alto, California and committed to increasing the number of students of color with a four-year college degree. Mario joined FCE as director of programs in February of 2014.
He previously served as director of post-secondary programs with Big Picture Learning. In addition, he has served as director of scholarship programs for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and senior financial aid administrator at the University of Notre Dame. Mario received a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, and a certificate in nonprofit management from San Francisco State University. He is committed to expanding college access and completion for low-income and first-generation youth.
Mario, the son of Mexican immigrants, was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He currently resides in San Francisco, California.
