Dr. Keith Jones will be entering his 15th year in education. Dr. Jones has held leadership roles at the middle and high school levels since 2012. Dr. Jones has served as a middle school principal in Lawrence Kansas for the past five years leading Billy Mills Middle School. He currently has a new role at Platte County High School as the head principal. He has taught English, Journalism and Video Production in the classroom. Dr. Jones is a graduate of Florida A&M University, Pittsburgh State University and Baker University, where he holds a bachelors degree in Journalism, a masters degree in Instructional Leadership and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership Dr. Jones is passionate about teaching the whole child and helping students develop life skills, and brings experience working in corporate America and community organizations, as well as advocating for college and career preparatory programs. Dr. Jones has two sons: Leonjay (19) attends Mid- America of Nazarene University playing football and Keith Jr. (8) who will be attending third grade.
