Jaleah Robinson

Jaleah Robinson proudly serves as a middle school principal at the Environmental Charter School (ECS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she works alongside a group of committed educators and families to do school differently. She is also working to grow her knowledge in the area of special education as a doctoral candidate at Duquesne University. Previously, she taught high school and middle school English and had one memorable year as a seventh grade science teacher.

Beyond her work with ECS, Jaleah presently serves as a board member for the Wilkinsburg Boys and Girls Club. She was also a professional mentor with the organization Strong Women Strong Girls, a member of CORO Pittsburgh's 2015 cohort of Next Neighborhood Leaders, and a writing instructor with the Fund for Advancement of Minorities Through Education and the University of Pittsburgh's Investing Now program.

Jaleah earned her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and in her spare time enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and watching movies.
